FRANKFORT, Ky. -- The Judicial Nominating Commission, led by Chief Justice of Kentucky John D. Minton Jr., today announced nominees to fill the vacant District Court judgeship in the 32nd Judicial District, Division 1, consisting of Boyd County.
The three attorneys named as nominees to fill the vacancy are Roger Wilco Hall, Scott Taylor Reese and Anna Holmes Ruth, all of Ashland.
The District Court judgeship was left vacant by Judge George W. Davis III, who was appointed as a Boyd County Circuit Court judge.
Nominees
Roger Wilco Hall is associated with Williams, Hall & Latherow in Ashland. He earned his juris doctor at the University of North Carolina School of Law.
Scott Taylor Reese is an assistant commonwealth’s attorney for the Boyd County Office of the Commonwealth’s Attorney. He earned his juris doctor at the Widener University School of Law in Pennsylvania.
Anna Holmes Ruth is a practicing attorney in Ashland. She earned her juris doctor at the University of Kentucky College of Law.
