FRANKFORT, Ky. -- The Judicial Nominating Commission, led by Chief Justice of Kentucky John D. Minton Jr., today announced nominees to fill the vacant District Court judgeship in the 30th Judicial District, Division 13, consisting of Jefferson County.
The three attorneys named as nominees to fill the vacancy are Wanda Mitchell Baker, Mason Lee Trenaman Sr. and Derwin Lamont Webb, all of Louisville.
The District Court judgeship was left vacant by Judge Joan A. Stringer, who resigned Jan. 5 to join the Senior Judges Program.
Nominees
Wanda Mitchell Baker is the chief operating officer for the Office of the Jefferson County Circuit Court Clerk. She earned her juris doctor at the University of Virginia School of Law in Charlottesville.
Mason Lee Trenaman Sr. has a law practice that is primarily a Family Court practice. He earned his juris doctor at the University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law.
Derwin Lamont Webb is associated with Webb Law Offices, Inc. He earned his juris doctor at the University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law.
