LOUISVILLE: Judge rejects Kings’ motion to seal divorce files

Another King story in the news.  This one about efforts to seal divorce files by Jim King and his ex-wife.  I left the comments link to the Courier Journal story for those wanting to read what the voters say.  Judge Patricia Walker-Fitzgerald gave no special treatment, but is considering the privacy interests regarding the finances and the children (one of whom was and now is sitting district court Judge Katie King).

A judge Tuesday rejected a motion by Louisville mayoral candidate Jim King and his ex-wife, Rebecca, to seal their two divorce files from the 1980s, including one in which she accused him of physically, emotionally and verbally abusing her.
