FRANKFORT, Ky. -- The Judicial Nominating Commission, led by Chief Justice of Kentucky John D. Minton Jr., today announced nominees to fill the vacant District Court judgeship in the 4th Judicial District, Division 2, consisting of Hopkins County.
The three attorneys named as nominees to fill the vacancy are Kimberly Poe Gilliam, Christopher Bryan Oglesby and William R. Whitledge.
The District Court judgeship was left vacant by Judge Robert F. Soder, who resigned Jan. 4 to join the Senior Judges Program.
Nominees
Kimberly Poe Gilliam of Madisonville is a staff attorney for Hopkins County Family Court Judge Susan Wesley McClure. She earned her juris doctor at Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law, graduating in 1985.
Christopher Bryant Oglesby of White Plains is associated with P’Pool, Oglesby & Riddle in Madisonville and is an assistant prosecutor for the Hopkins County Attorney’s Office. He earned his juris doctor at Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law, graduating in 1997.
William R. Whitledge of Madisonville has a solo law practice. He earned his juris doctor at the University of Kentucky College of Law, graduating in 1967.
