Lawlapalooza is presented by the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law and the Phoenix Hill Tavern and benefits the Judge Ellen B. Ewing Foundation. The Ewing Foundation provides summer fellowships for UofL law students to work in the areas of family law, domestic violence and spouse abuse, and HIV/AIDS.
