Ex-teller pleads not guilty to $7 million embezzlement HERALD LEADER
A former credit union teller charged with embezzling more than $7 million from the institution still has the option of withdrawing from an agreement to plead guilty.
Patricia H. Sherman, 49, of Louisville, Ky., entered a not guilty plea during a hearing in federal court on Tuesday. Earlier this month, Sherman signed a proposed plea agreement but can withdraw it and proceed to trial.
