Kentucky's Supreme Court has unanimously upheld a lower-court decision that threw out a death sentence because the defendant received ineffective legal counsel at trial.
Ride accident investigation in new phase [LOUISVILLE]
The on-site part of the investigation of a Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom ride that severed a 13-year-old girl's feet above the ankles has been completed, a state spokesman said yesterday.
