Largest verdict reported was a $3,500,000 whistleblower and wrongful use of civil proceedings verdict against in Fayette County the school board and two officials for a school principal who was the victim of retaliation when she complained of problems at her school.
- Plaintiff's lawyers were Dale Golden and Lynsie Gaddis, Golden and Walters, Lexington, Kentucky.
- Defense lawyers were Robert Chenoweth, Chenoweth Law Office, Lexington, KY.
- Verdict was $3.5 Million consisting of:
- $500,000 against county for whistleblower.
- $2,000,000 against two school system employees for wrongful use of civil proceedings.
- $500,000 against the two employees for puntive damages.
Other verdicts reported included:
- $155,000 car accident with PTSD and soft-tissue in Boone County by Michael Gay and Scott Hughes out of Cincinnati, Ohio.
- $130,684 UIM verdict in Jefferson County by Neal Herrington and Christopher Morris.
- $105,540 college fraud verdict in Jefferson County by David Strite and Mark Hammond, O'Bryan, Brown and Toner, Louisville, Ky.
- $67,899 auto accident verdict for rotator cuff injury in Boone County by Joseph Wehby, Newport, Ky.
- $25,000 and $20,870 verdicts for sexual harassment in Washington County by Jonathan Spalding, Lebanon, Ky.
