"Judicial or Prejudicial: Campaign Free Speech & KY Judges" from WFPL

On June 20, 2005, the Louisville Forum addressed judicial campaigns and free speech with Hon. Joseph Lambert, James Bopp, and Geoffrey Hazard speaking on the topic.

With the 'mother of all judicial elections' coming up in 2006 with all but 2 of the 266 judicial seats on the ballot (including 5 of the Supremes), the topic was timely and an interesting contrast and views from the presenters.

You may want to watch this on Metro TV (check the site for upcoming schedule) or you can listen to the audio on-line from the WFPL web site.

Click here for the audio in MP3 format.

As some may already know, Chief Justice Lambert has already set up a citizen's committee to monitor these elections.  Click here for our earlier posting.
